Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and commissioning of electrical substations including transformers, circuit breakers, and protection systems.

• Conduct testing of HT and LT panels, switchgear, busbars, relays, and control circuits.

• Carry out insulation resistance (IR), high-voltage (Hi-Pot), primary and secondary injection tests.

• Verify protection relay settings and ensure proper coordination.

• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical faults in substations and panels.

• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.

• Prepare detailed test reports, documentation, and commissioning records.

• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients during installation and commissioning.

• Identify potential system issues and recommend corrective actions.

• Ensure proper earthing and grounding systems are installed and tested.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Hands-on experience in substation testing and HT/LT panel commissioning.

• Knowledge of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and control schematics.

• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and protection relays.

• Strong understanding of safety standards and electrical codes.

• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and on-site as required.
