Our scope covers preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of complete power systems, including HT & LT switchgear, transformers, ring main units (RMUs), UPS systems, battery banks, static transfer switches (STS), power distribution units (PDUs), bus ducts, DG sets, synchronization panels, and automatic transfer schemes (ATS).

Maintenance activities include insulation resistance testing, contact resistance measurement, thermographic scanning, relay testing, battery impedance testing, harmonic analysis, load profiling, earth resistance measurement, and power quality assessment. We perform detailed health checks of protection systems, interlocks, redundancy paths (N+1 / 2N), and failover sequences to ensure seamless power transfer during abnormal conditions.

Scope of Work

01. Contract Coverage

  • Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for complete electrical power infrastructure of the data center
  • Coverage includes preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure continuous and reliable operation
  • Maintenance activities to be carried out as per OEM manuals, Uptime Institute guidelines, TIA-942, and applicable IS/IEC standards

2. Preventive Maintenance

  • Scheduled preventive maintenance visits as per approved maintenance calendar
  • Inspection, cleaning, tightening, lubrication, and functional checks of all electrical equipment
  • Verification of system redundancy (N, N+1, 2N) and power availability paths

3. High Voltage (HT) Electrical Systems

  • Maintenance of HT switchgear, VCB/SF₆ breakers, RMUs, and associated protection systems
  • Insulation resistance, contact resistance, breaker timing, and functional testing
  • Relay testing, calibration, and protection coordination verification

4. Low Voltage (LT) Electrical Systems

  • Preventive maintenance of LT panels, PCC, MCC, ACB, MCCB, bus couplers, and feeders
  • Torque tightening, thermal inspection, and load balancing
  • Functional testing of interlocks and protection devices

5. Transformers

  • Routine inspection of power and distribution transformers
  • Transformer oil testing (BDV, moisture content, acidity) and breather maintenance
  • Winding resistance and insulation resistance testing

6. UPS & Battery Systems

  • Preventive maintenance of online UPS systems and static bypass arrangements
  • Inspection and testing of battery banks, including impedance testing and backup capacity verification
  • Verification of alarms, charger, inverter, and bypass operations

7. DG Sets & Emergency Power Systems

  • Maintenance of DG sets, AMF panels, synchronization panels, and fuel systems
  • Auto start/stop testing, load transfer, and parallel operation verification
  • Support during mock power failure and black-start drills

8. Power Distribution & Redundancy Systems

  • Maintenance of PDUs, RPPs, bus ducts, STS, and ATS systems
  • Verification of dual power paths and failover performance
  • Load profiling and capacity utilization assessment

9.Earthing & Lightning Protection

  • Periodic measurement of earth resistance and continuity checks
  • Inspection and maintenance of earthing grids, bonding, and lightning protection systems
  • Compliance with statutory electrical safety requirements

10. Testing, Monitoring & Diagnostics

  • Infrared thermography of panels, bus ducts, and critical joints
  • Power quality analysis, harmonic measurement, and trend analysis
  • Insulation health and earth leakage assessment

11. Breakdown Maintenance & Emergency Support

  • 24Γ—7 on-call breakdown maintenance support during the AMC period
  • Fault isolation, rectification, and system restoration support
  • Root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action recommendations for major failures

12. Safety, Compliance & Documentation

  • All work to be executed under approved method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems
  • Adherence to data center safety protocols and change management procedures
  • Submission of preventive maintenance checklists, test reports, and detailed service documentation
